About Me
I have had a passion for gardening ever since I was a little girl. I still remember how thrilled I was to receive my first plant; it was a miniature rose plant from my grandmother. I had never seen anything like it before. The tiny roses were so delicate and beautiful, and it was a perfect addition to my Barbie doll's home! I learned a lot about gardening from my grandmother, by reading a ton of books, talking with fellow gardeners, and of course trial and error. Although I have a good amount of knowledge, I believe that there will always be something new to learn or discover in gardening, which is wonderful because I can't get enough of it!
I try to find inexpensive, inspirational, eco-friendly gardening ideas. I also focus on fool-proof gardening methods for beginners. For example, many people find growing plants from seeds difficult so I wrote step-by-step articles on how to get seeds to sprout with little effort at all. Currently my favorite fool-proof germination methods are Homemade Greenhouse and Plastic Shopping Bag Method.
I hope that you will benefit from my blog and if you do not have a garden of your own, I hope I will inspire you to create one of your own. Starting a garden takes a little effort, but the reward is well worth it!
